To unlock the full potential of our coffee, we’ve invested in empowering our local workforce. In 2021, I had the privilege of training a group of talented women in the art of coffee roasting.
Now, expertly roasted on-site in Boneza, each batch of our coffee is a testament to the dedication and skill of our community. Through careful roasting techniques, we coax out the subtle nuances of our nutrient-rich volcanic soil, ensuring that every cup bursts with the exquisite flavors unique to the mountains of Rwanda.
But our commitment to excellence doesn’t end there. We understand the importance of maintaining freshness throughout the supply chain. That’s why our coffee is roasted in small batches and shipped monthly on direct RwandAir flights. This ensures that from farm to cup, you’re guaranteed to receive the freshest coffee possible.
Looking ahead, we’re eager to further maximize the value chain created by our community members. We recognize the immense potential for growth and innovation, and we’re actively seeking volunteers to provide expert training in coffee quality, cupping, barista skills, and more.
