Kawah’s best tiramisu recipe
Here is a Tiramisu recipe that will have you dream of the weekend ahead for you to make it! Be sure to order all your ingredients in time.
TIRAMISÙ ( Italian for “pull me up”, just like a cup of Kawah coffee would do) Tiramisu – Wikipedia is a coffee flavored dessert and I just had to try it with our Kawah coffee. Let’s just say, worth every spoonful!
Living in Italy for a few years meant learning how to perfect my Tiramisu recipe too!
Here’s how to make a wonderful Tiramisu that just keeps you wanting to come back for more.
Ingredients
- 600ml double cream
- 250g mascarpone
- 50ml Marsala
- 3 tbsp caster sugar
- 300ml strong coffee – using Kawah speciality coffee of course!
- 175g sponge fingers
- 25g dark chocolate (70% cocoa solids or more if you like it super dark. Divine choc is excellent for this recipe)
Method
- Mix together the cream, mascarpone, marsala and sugar in a large bowl. Be sure to whisk until the mixture is thick and leaves a heavy trail
- Dip each of the sponge fingers into the coffee. Just a quick soak will do, no super soggy fingers here!
- Layer half the sponge fingers with of your cream mix and top with half of your grated chocolate.
- Now repeat step 3 creating another final layer.
- Chill in the fridge for a good few hours or ideally overnight
Now serve to that special someone with a Kawah coffee espresso, and give the gift of coffee ☕️ 😘 ❤️
